From stay-at-home concerts to donating crayons for kids, there are so many amazing things happening in our neighborhood this week.


1. Garth Brooks Couch Concert - Monday at 7 PM

We just put the name up there for pizazz and effect, but Indianapolis-based radio station 97.1 Hank FM will be hosting the country megastar’s music tonight at 7 p.m., along with other musicians, for their “Concerts from Your Couch” series.


2. Small Business Relief - Tuesday at 12 and 1 PM

Times are certainly uncertain for many small businesses in the area, so Gener8or is hosting a series of webinars focused on small businesses and how to survive the mandated shuttering of their businesses. Go here to apply no later March 25 and find out more information.


3. FFA Webinars - Tuesday at 1 PM

It only stands to reason that we are big proponents of the Future Farmers of America, which is based in our home state. That being said, the FFA is doing some cool things in making sure those who want to be in the know are; one of these steps is this webinar, which probably has the best event title ever.


4. Coronavirus and Kids - Tuseday at 1 and 2 PM

The Indiana Family Services and Support Administration’s Office of Early Childhood and Out-of-School Learning will host this webinar at two different times tomorrow to keep parents of Pre-K kids up to date.


5. Dance Away Your Blues - Tuesday at 6 PM

Indianapolis-based fitness sensation Dance Fit with Erin will be hosting a free home-based workout livestream Tuesday at 6 p.m.


6. Pantry of Hope Indianapolis - Wednesday from 4 - 7 PM

The Indianapolis Pantry of Hope will host the first of a series of “No Contact Pick up Pantry” to help those who need help with food.


7. Staying Grounded - Wednesday and Thursday at 12 PM

Lafayette-based Brown Street United Methodist Church will be offering free at-home guided meditation sessions beginning Wednesday.


8. Helping Others - Thursday from 2 - 6 PM

In Kokomo, Community Howard Regional Health will be hosting a mobile blood drive to get much-needed blood supplies for area patients.


9. Color Outside the Lines - Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM

In honor of National Crayola Crayon Day, the Huntington location of Miller’s Merry Manor will be hosting a crayon drive to celebrate creativity and art for our youth.
