First Farmers Bank & Trust was one of the four primary sponsors for the 3rd annual Kokomo YMCA Glo in the Mo' event. This was a glow-in-the-dark 5k through Downtown Kokomo. Our volunteer group decided to get involved by volunteering time on Friday night during the race to splash and spray UV tinted water on race participants. other FFBT employees were participating by registering as race participants. This event brought community members together to provide a fun activity for children and adults alike!

We did a school supplies drive for schools in Sullivan County. We have raised over $1000 worth of supplies via bake sales and community support. We delivered supplies to Dugger Union Community School (Dugger), North Central Elementary (Farmersburg), and the Southwest Sullivan School Corp (Sullivan). What a great way to start off the school year! Thanks to everyone that helped or contributed!

The Platinum Sponsorship of the Farmersburg T-Bird Youth Football League and Cheerleading helps the children with their uniforms, equipment, and trophies. FFBT intends to remain strong and active in the community, and what better way to do that than to support the local youth. This is a huge program that touches so many kids’ lives and we are extremely happy that we could contribute in this way and be apart of it.

Jordan Foland, and Jeff Rodibaugh present Emily Bryant of Feeding Indiana's Hungry (FIsH) with a check for $10,000 to kick off the Indiana Pork Ham Breakfast at the Indiana State Fair. This check is our contribution to their Million Meals program.
FIsH describes what the Million Meals program is on their website as this:
"Indiana Pork, in partnership with Feeding Indiana’s Hungry, Inc. and the Indiana Soybean Alliance, founded an ongoing campaign for Indiana pork producers and industry leaders to donate pork products to Hoosiers experiencing hunger. The lofty goal of the campaign is to provide one million meals per year, throughout the year, to those in need. These pork meals are distributed statewide through the eleven food bank members of Feeding Indiana’s Hungry, Inc., Indiana’s statewide network of food banks."
