FFBT Donates to the Rebuilding of the Original Fairmount H.S. Stage

The Fairmount Lions Club purchased and removed the stage from the Old Fairmount High School back in August of 2010. In early winter of 2013, they were approved to rebuild the stage in the pavilion at Play Acres Park. This stage is the original stage where James Dean, native of Fairmount,  started his acting career. To honor his memory, the Fairmount Lions Club wanted to see this stage brought back to life as it is a piece of Fairmount's history.

They were seeking all the donations they could find to help with the rebuilding of the stage. First Farmers Bank & Trust wrote a check for $2,500 to donate towards "Rebuilding the Original Fairmount High School Stage" to honor James Dean and all Fairmount High School Alumni.
